It took us 3 buses ro get from Leymebamba to Trujillo. The first bus took us to a small and not interesting at all towen called Celendin in 8 hours. The favorite occupation of the local people during the ride was looking outside the windows and down the steep mountinside looking for whicales that fell down from the road (not too wide, not too safe), as far as I now they found only one truck, ehich was allready found by other drivers, so nothing exciting. The ride from Celendin to the next stop, Cajamarca, took 4 hours, after which we had about 3.5 hours to walk around the town. I must stay that I almost regrat we did not stay a night in there. Itīs an adorable little city, with very nice streets, buildings, parks and plazas in the center, and we had a great time there, although we did not have much of it.
We paid for a better bus on the night ride from Cajamarca to Trujillo because I prefer sleeping well during night rides, although we donīt always do it. Lottle did I know about how well would I sleep, every passanger had a really big and comfortable seat, that reclined almost into a bed, that can only be compared to the seats in A class in planes.
We arrived early in the morning after a good sleep(Yuliaīs sleep was not as good apperantly), and started exploring the town. The city has a really nice main Plaza and alot of pretty buildings. We visited the main church and and itīs little museum. On the next day we went to the Chan Chan ruins, a whole city(of which we saw the main palace), built close to the sea by the Chimu people who lived here shorty before the arrival of the Spanish. The place is srill being explored by archeologists and is very much impressive. Everything there was mad of sand and mud bricks, because thars all they had there. Due to that many buildings were ruined by rains over the years.
Our next destination was Huaca De Luna, a templem made by the Moche people, who are the ancestors of the Chimu people. Due to some time miscalculations we discoverd that we had no time for that at that day, so we had to go to plan B, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Going to the cinema here was realy great, and the movie was also "relevant", itīs about Peru, sort of.
On the next day we went to Huaca De Luna, and spent the rest of the day roaming the streets, eventually stopping for a beer in some bar.

Indiana Jones and the crustal skull
I went to it too yesterday. With my family.

My parents sort of freaked out when they saw what peruvian ants do.
