We went on an organized tour to Isabella Island, the largest in the Galapagos archipelago.
After a 2 hour boat ride we met Julio, our guide who was waiting for us at the docks, he took us to the hotel(a very nice place, with air conditioning, TV and hammocks). On that evening we went to see the giant turtle breeding center, where they bring the eggs, hatch them, and let the turtles grown in a safe environment until the age of five, then they get strong enough shells and can be released to the wild. From there we walked to the town and saw flying flamingos, very cool.
On the next day after breakfast we went with a big group to the Sierra Negra volcano, which we climbed on horses, and it was amazing and really fun, an hour long ride to each direction. The volcano is very active but it wrupts in a calm way, with only lava flowing, mostly into itīs crater(the second largest in the world). In the evening we went snorkeling again, but the water was cloudy again and you could hardly see, still I saw Sea Lions again, and for the first time in snorkeling I swam with Penguins.
Then we came back to the hotel, bought beers and drank them while lying in the hammocks. The rest of the evening we spent playing cards.
Today is Saturday and we came back from Isabella in the morning, we donīt have any plans for today, so I have time to write this.
Cheers.
