And, here we are again, in Quito, Ecuador.  We caught a quick promo flight from Bogota to Quito on Avianca Airlines, and after they lost our backpack covers that we had bought in Thailand, then painstakingly slowly rebuilt from scratch for us, but with a 3x heavier material, and after all our trips to the Quito Mariscal Sucre Airport, we have decided that we never want to see that place again.

We may have to make one tiny exception, to visit the famed Galapagos Islands and pay extortionate prices just to get there. 

Our plan is to then make our way to Guayaquil, to volunteer for an organization called Habitat for Humanity, and help build homes for Ecuadorīs poverty stricken families.

Next stop...Peru!
