Today visited the Santa Catalina convent, famous for being a city within a city and for housing nuns based from rich families. These nuns even used to have their own slaves. This went on for almost 300 yrs before a strict Dominican nun put a stop to all.

Next went to the Museo Santuary which exhibits frozen Inca children sacrificed on the surrounding mountains. We were lucky to see Juanita who was the first child found (as well as being of royal lineage), almost perfectly preserved even though over 500 years old! Three more children were found on the same mountain later on.
