Roohi was really excited to check in at the Marriott (using Akshay“s points), especially when Akshay managed to get a free upgrade to a suite! Woohooo! (Perks of all the PwC travel finally paying off). Chilled during the weekend, enjoying the hotel.
Popped out in the evening to check out the Palermo area (both Soho & Hollywood). Not many people around and kind of dead - this is meant to be BA“s poshest area...Visited the Evita museum which was realy interesting especially due to the controversy around her death. Treated to more outdoor Jazz in the Botanical Gardens.
We thought our craving for paneer tikka (remembering Jodhpur Gypsy“s a lot!) would be satisfied when we went to this indian restaurant called Krishna in Palermo. Indian food...not quite! Just bland veggie food on offer - although Roohi did get some masala chai (close enough to the real thing).
