Meant to have a jeep safari today except it was really a drive in an overland truck. Again saw more birds and caiman! Started to trek through the pantanal on foot. Came across swampy areas where we had to walk through - sometimes thigh deep. You should have seen Roohi´s face! She found it really disgusting, you couldn´t see what you were walking in to but you just had to step through it, even though the slippers kept on getting stuck in the muck beneath.

Johnny took us through a swamp area which was quite open with lots of bird bests, again where we had to step through the muddy water. After we finished trekking through the area, Johnny says "Ohno, we didn´t find any anacondas today..." Roohi says "Whaaaat! Nobody told me we were looking for anacondas on this trip!"

Saw loads of howler monkeys. Learnt to communicate with them making noises like them. Surprisingly they were responding! They were the show for us, but I think we were more of a show for them! Also so kwatis (racoon like things) as well as an armadillo quite close up.

In the afternoon, did horse riding - the gaucho way!. Got to a place where there was a zip line into the river. After we had finished (lot of fun), Johnny said many piranha and caiman around. Roohi says "Whaaaat!". Our arses were hurting by the time we got back to the lodge after all the gaucho style riding!

Sounds like you guys are having lots of fun
I need to buy a wildlife dictionary to keep up with your all your discoveries,
