Got here 5hrs after leaving Rio, even though it was only supposd to take 3! Drove long the Costa Verde (green coast) with the beach & bay on one side & tropical rainforest on the other. Awesome!
Roohi relieved and delighted to find an immaculate room at the Pousada after Rio. We highly recommend this place.
Paraty (pronounced Parachee) has a historical town centre listed as a UNESCO heritage site with pedestrianised cobbled streets. Festival in town with lots of stalls, really lively with locals, markets, stalls and people freestyling Copeira. Disappointed though that the main music act was American rock instead of traditional Brazil (Saint Lucia de ja vus).
Had dinner at Thai Brasil (fusion of both). Amazing decor!
