As we headed for breakfast, the duty manager puts on some music and puts out a bowl of red apples. Roohi was amazed thinking all this service for us; we later found out the the South African Tourism Council were arriving that day to evaluate the hotel's rating.

Visited a few vineyards in Franschoek. Got chatting to a French couple. Roohi mentions she is vegetarian; to which the woman replied "I know what you mean! I am also vegetarian! Almost! I eat chicken and fish but it is so hard to find food here...". Franschoek is South Africa's gourmet capital by the way!
