Just got into Edinburgh yesterday. This place has amazing buildings everywhere, 2 churches/cathedrals on every street and a giant hill&castle overlooking everything. Went on a tour of a couple of streets which were built over hundreds of years ago, leaving the buildings in their original form. the people here had the interesting idea of all chucking out their sewage/waste buckets at the same time onto the street and letting it all run down into the river below. mmmmm healthy.
