Where I stayed
Haslam Town Camp $5 honesty bo

Haslam SA is a very quiet fishing village a few houses a camp right up from the Jetty, they ask for $5 per night to be placed in the honesty box, there's toilets, clothes line, Bins, BBQ's heaps shade trees  and set out spaces to park. We are so lucky these small communities set these spaces aside for us to stay, this one up to 10 days! So the least we can do is pay the small asking price, if we abuse their generosity we'll all loose them all together.

It was 42 deg when we were there so the generator went nearly all day for the aircon. later we walked down and sat under the jetty in the water to cool down. Clothes and all!!! worked a treat! Then at about 3pm the wind changed and the temp dropped to the high 20's just like that and that was the start of the 20+ deg 7 day cool change that triggered our setting off on the Nullarbor.
