Today we went to find out more about the early years of Florida, Not going into detail here so you will need to Google Henry Flagler to discover all of the facts.  However you will get some idea of the wealth in this area 100 years ago by the first three photo's.  The house backs onto the Intracoastal Waterway and faces the ocean, the view of the ocean is now obstructed by the Poinciana Hotel which Flagler built to accommodate all his train visitors.

After a couple of hours at the museum we had lunch at Testa's which in very upmarket restaurant in Poinciana Avenue where Gary outmuscled a Rolls Royce at an intersection where we had the right of way.  She stopped outside our restaurant alongside the usual array of Merc's and BMW's, we had parked Gary's Ford truck across the road!!

From there we tried shopping at Macy's for some wedding gear but they only cater for the trim taut and terrific, none of which it seems I am these days.

Got home late afternoon and decided 10 Pin Bowling might be an iinteresting evening.  Gary having an Aussie passport teamed with me so we played Jay and Todd the USA team.  Prices were a revelation, we paid $9.95 for an hour, not per game.  Unquestionably cheap!!

We are now at home having an intense discussion with Jay and Todd over the Israelie/Palastinian problems, both guys have been to Israel more than once and whilst not passionate Jews they are very knowledgable on the subject.
