Well we got into the Warren Co. airport at 1:30 with plenty of time to get some cool video shots and socialize with everyone. It was really hot out there on the tarmac! I know, it's just gonna get hotter as we travel further into the south.
There's more I could talk about, but it really isn't important. Check out the photos and video and see for yourself. Remember, the video is just a SMALL sampling of what we film. All the really good stuff will be on the full length dvd.
WOW! What a day! We left Marion, IL at 7:30am, had a great drive towards Bowling Green until the last 30 miles and the rear end of the Nova was making some serious noise. Just as we crossed an intersection towards a business district of a town, we see a Chevy dealership and pull in. We park the car and fluid starts to pour out of the rear end. Apparently a pinion nut backed out of the differential and the parts were barely hanging on!! The service dept. at the dealership somehow couldn't help us, but fortunately there was a small shop down the street that offered their services. Dave and Mange got things together temporarily and we took the car over. They put it on the rack and went to it. Everything got fixed and we were back on the road two hours later. The full video footage will be on the final event DVD. I've posted a couple of pictures.
