Day Five!
Drove from Lincoln, NE to Ames, IA this morning.  You'll see on the video that it was, once again, a beautiful ride.  Got hung up in some construction traffic getting out of Lincoln and then had two detours in Iowa due to the road being washed out.  And again, we lucked out and missed the rain today.  A big system is coming through tonight, but I think we'll get the smaller hit out of the whole thing.   We're 12 miles north of the city of Ames in Studio City.
The owner of Cherry Bomb joined the tour today and we got a great promo spot from him as to what's going on the final night (Friday) in Madison.
We were scheduled to stop at Cedar Falls dragstrip tomorrow, but its been cancelled because it's under water!  Oh well.  I'm just glad to be north of the searing heat of the south.  It was a pleasant 75 today.
Off to Rochester, MN tomorrow!
