Arrived in Sydney
Entry 2 of 20 | show all | print this entry |
Well we made it again, 2nd time to Australia. Very knackered. Did have a bonus when we got to the hotel - they have upgraded us to a deluxe harbour view room. Woohoo!
This time feel a lot more relaxed, but I guess that is because we have managed to have a good sleep on the airplane. The Upper Class beds a very comfortable indeed, you even get a proper duvet. Did have a little mishap with my suite, after I woke up, I went to convert it back from a bed back to the seat, and it broke. The cabin crew managed to sort it out, but engineers had to fix it in Hong Kong - see I can cause trouble anywhere. Also, Chris managed to drop a pen and toothbrush inside his seat too, so it's not only me causing trouble.
We caught a taxi from the airport, we had oriental driver who was not paying much attention to the road, and we nearlly piled into the back of another car on the freeway.
It's 9.35pm here now, and we are finding it very difficult to keep our eyes open. Actually we think we may have fallen to sleep earlier, but no idea how long. So, we have just hit the noodle bar, and had a little sit by the harbour watching the bats fly over the water. We now know how the aussie won the cricket, the bats here are the size of flying cats!! SCARY!
Anyway, we arrived safe and sound. More blogs entries soon.
Catch you later.

So, having had the joys of the Upper Class lounge, you now have a harbour view in Sydney...
Well, I spent yesterday in the rain, in Stoke Newington! See...ther's always someone better off than you!
Do try not to break any more planes. Keep updating, it's great hearing how you're getting on.
Ali sends her love.
