Today I slept in! :) Sleeping in always starts the day on a good note, but the coffee maker was broken... Moving on...! Fortunately since Mustang Sally has been here for most of the summer, Sarah'a head of housekeeping friend brought us a new coffee maker that actually worked! The morning was saved! Fresh coffee!

Once we had our fresh coffee in hand, we went to the Art in the Park festival to see the numerous independent art vendors who had their wares on display. We met Sarah's friend Jessie, who runs a jewelery shop on the island, at her tent in the park and visited for a little while and admired her absolutely gorgeous jewelery. After a short visit, Sarah and I explored the rest of the vendors and did some early Christmas shopping! :) I also splurged and bought myself a painting! It spoke to me, and I couldn't pass it up. When we were done shopping, we visited stopped by Jessie's again, and helped her close

After the Art in the Park, we were all set and on our way to the Goat for some lunch, when we got a text from Rachel with an invitation to meet her on her blind date. Since we'd already gotten the golf cart, we circled back and picked up Rachel and Mandy then made our way to the Skyway restaurant for this "date". The four of us arrived fashionably late, and within 10 minutes, Rachel decided she had been stood up. Since we were already there we had lunch, and got harassed by veeery drunk people sitting at the bar across from our table. When we were all done, Rachel treated everyone since it was supposed to be the boy's treat to begin with. I thought that was super nice.

After we made our way back to the Islander, Sarah and I relaxed for a bit. Relaxing involved checking Facebook, looking at jewelery online, girl talk, talk about moving to Nashville, and admiring our earlier purchases. Then when we were hungry again, we walked to the Goat for dinner! I am so excited that I made it to the Goat this summer! It's the best restaurant on the island, and it's called the GOAT. C'mon! What's not to love?! :) I definitely bought a t-shirt...

After the walk back to the Islander, we started getting ready for the show. We both straightened our hair, and Sarah asked to do my make up. Getting ready was really fun, actually, even though it was a chore. It felt more like playing dress up than getting ready for an event. :) After Sarah worked her magic make up, I felt very pretty! :)

The Sundance Saloon was PACKED tonight. Completely ridiculous. I think the Saturday night group was more drunk by 9:30p than the Friday night group had been, so the whole thing just felt more intense. It was a great show, awesome energy from the crowd. No kisses tonight, which was just fine with me.

I am very tired, and have a long drive ahead of me tomorrow, so I think I will leave this as it is. Yes. Good night!
