Ater our trial camping trip at Pinery, we decided that, if we can't go south yet, we might as well go north! So, we headed north for a couple of weeks to Tia Eva and Mary's cottage in La Peche township in Quebec, close to Gatineau Park. We had a great time, eating, drinking, swimming and loon-watching. The kids made thier directorial/acting debuts by writing/directing/rpoducing/starring in (etc. etc.) "he Frog Whisperer." We also spent a few days at thier house in Ottawa, getting to know the city and the canal/river system, and eating moules frites forthe "hill special" at the Metropolitain Brasserie.
