24 hours in Madrid doesn't leave a whole lot of time to see the sights, but we did our best.
Monday night we went out for a Calamari Sandwich, recommended by a good friend Michael, at the Plaza del Mayor. The Calamari was good but could use some condiments.
Then we walked around the streets soaking up the Euro vibe. There was a late movie of Valkire with a Monday discount so we made a trip back to English land. The movie is interesting; it would be great to hear more of these stories, but overall Tom Cruise still freaks Arik out a bit.
In the morning we were up early. Most of the day was just walking from plaza to plaza and checking out the amazing buildings and the nice architecture. Then it was off to the airport for our flight back to Lisbon.
