We then continued hiking down the beach for another hour before hitting our camp site for the night. We got there and rented hamocks that were up on this rock over looking the ocean. It was awesome. We spent two nights there and during the day just relaxed on the beach and went swimming in the ocean. The water was pretty warm. We both got burnt on the first day, but it has turned into a nice tan - the weather was super hot but a bit overcast and although we put on sunscreen everyone we were with also got burnt.
They had one little restaurant and that was the only place to buy food. So we ate there both nights for dinner - it was pretty reasonably priced. 3 dollars for a big bowl of pasta with crackers. We have noticed they eat very bland tasting food. But is is still tasty.
Today we hiked out for 2 hours which seemed a lot worse then the hike in because we couldn't swim once we got out but we saw lots of wild life, toads, monkeys, ants etc. And now we are heading back to Cartagena to go to the volcano for a mud bath.
We will try and upload pictures later today - we forgot our USB cord so have to find one to use or borrow.
