After breakfast we went to the Nahoon Point area. Had our own guide, a ranger, and there was no fee. Unlike Namibia where most things were charged for. We walked along the road, then into the bush for quite a while. Just as well they knew where we were going. Eventually we came out onto the coast at the Bat's Cave. Quite an impressive sight, unfortunately as it wasn't low tide we couldn't get into the cave. But there is an impressive pathway back to the centre, following the coast through about 5 coves. I pity the poor guys who had to lug the steps and concrete all that way just to make life easy for tourists like us!
All along the way there were wonderful sights of the coves, with waves breaking on the rocks. As per usual, whenever I took out my camera, the waves decided to take a rest. So much for the 7th wave!
As it was tea time, we went to a local eatery to have waffles and coffee. Then we bought a Chinese take away to take back to Jean's for lunch. We do need to cut down on what we eat!
Then it was pack up and head to the airport for the flight home.
Jean dropped us at the airport, we checked in and flew to Jo'burg. Checked in again and it was into the air for the long flight home. Meal was forgettable, but they did provide a liqueur to go with coffee after dinner.
Peter, there's no wifi in the plane, and if there was, I'm sure it would be an extra in cattle class, where we fly!
