The coputers here seem to be affected by an ad plugin.
cant post todays blog, but normal service will be resumed tomorrow

Hopefully this has been overcome. Heres the story, now lets see if it'll let me upload the pictures

We set off as soon as the sun was sufficiently up, so as to make a good mileage today. Detoured off to take a run through the Badlands, which is an impressive sight. In a way its very similar to Bryce Canyon, in that the stalagmites (I know thay arent, but thats the easiest way to describe them) look similar. Apparently these ones today are formed by volcanic activity, whereas Bryce were by water and ice. For those who are technically minded.
The run throough was uneventful, and when we got to the Tourist Info booth to pay, we cashed in the $75 we had already spent, so it only cost us 5 for a months pass to all national parks, which expires today, instead of $20 for justy this one. However, there are no more parks where we are going!
Now we are into the mundane Mid West landscape, and its getting colder. Snow is forcast, but we saw none today. Apparently we are chasing the cold weather eastwards, so lets hope it keeps outrunning us.
Stopped off for lunch at Murdo, where there is a motor car museum. The guy in charge was very keen to show us round, but knowing that Martin would spend the next 6 hours in there, we decided not to. I think he was quite disappointed, wanting to show off all his exhibits to us obviously car enthusiasts.

Went via the Corn Palace, but it was closed about 5 minutes before we got there. However, the main attraction is on the outside, so all was not lost.
Went to a diner for dinner, and got 2 drinks (no beer, yet again!) They were served in bottling jars, not glasses. Such culture!

Well, not that much to say anymore, but then the tourist part of the journey is largely over.

Mileage 302 climbed 6744 ft to max of 3392
