To Scotts at 8.30.Beat toolbox back into shape and Scott riveted back together. Had failed to buy one locally .MR washed tools and packed back. With Dave Quinn re-fitted back storage box. And at last managed to remove passenger front seat to expose battery. Hoped to find my lost mobile phone in box – not there, but there was plenty of sand to be quarried out. Removed lower front offside brake shoe for re-lining, which I then left in workshop in my rush to leave for flight Scott took me as far as
Ioanni the Greek's boat yard and he then got me to airport. Fantastic support and assistance from characters I had not met before the week began. Got turned over by security at airport and eventually gave up 2 seatbelts and a duff coil which they threatened to have me check in which would just have made me late – possibly also for boarding

During week investigated possible storage for car. Found a local lock up garage and

Also possibility of keeping car with Gerald, Scotts friend at San Fernando

Well Martin, the story continues hey. Looks like you are still in good shape, and the car has survived the dreaded 'container' journey. Half shaft looked well worn in. Look forward to the updates as you get going on the road again in Oct.
