Thought I should start blogging my holidays n adventures this trip as we will have a laptop along. We have spent the last few months planning this trip. I can HIGHLY recommend anyone going on holiday to visit www.tripadvisor.com for reviews of hotels, things to see/do etc.
As our last several holidays have been to Thailand I think we are all "Thai'd" out so decided on America. Using our BA miles we got a great deal on British Airways Business class with their fully flat beds and champagne all the way. The flight was booked in January, and at the time I still had my BA Silver card which allowed me to go online to choose our seats. So straight onto www.seatguru.com to find the best seats and then I booked the two Upper Deck emergency exit seats for the way our and the Upper deck seats at 63J/K.
We also booked our Alcatraz trip as most people said it booked up weeks in advance.
Cases
So, flights all booked, hotels all booked, car hire booked, Alcatraz booked, list of what pubs do quizzes on what days while in San Francisco, packing list made, Tom Tom loaded up with West USA maps and updated, clothes picked but not packed yet.Yup, ready! Make with the Theme Tune
