The Melbourne stop was easy, off the plane, some people stopped there, about half carried onto Auckland.  Most people had

about 90 mins in the airport, We had 80 as they decided to do a random bag check and clothing check on me.  This involved

my bag being scanned, me being frisked, and sampls being taken from my clothes and scanned for drugs residue ???.  I

must have looked a bit dodgy on these flights
We had a look around the shops for an Oz souvenir, but didn't bother and we were back on the plane again after abot an hour

in the airport.
