Hi all,

We got back from Zurich yesterday.  Zurich is a lovely city as well and not just full of stuffy bankers.  Wandered around, ate dinner and there was also a local market but they were just packing up for the day.  I picked up a wedge of cheese to take home to Vera's (as you would) but by golly talk about smell.  I put it into a plastic bag and another plastig bag.  I could still smell it inside my shoulder bag and thought I might scare everyone off the train so put it inside another bag.

Today I went to the market with dad as I used to do as a child, same place (where the brothers Grimm of fairytale reputation were born) and it still looks and operates as it did all those years ago (40 to be exact).  The farmers with their wares, eggs, vegies, pickles, great bread and cheese, chooks etc.  The vegies look so good and fresh and you can buy a kg of mushrooms for $1.20.  Then off with my sister to a small fest organised by the local army reserve guys, just in the field around the corner.  Had beer, great bratwurst and chips.  Took a photo of Hannah, Justin and myself barefoot in the field each holding a ber and toasting Ruth and Sam's wedding at the Sky Club in Darwin seeing we had to miss it.

Then helped my dad a bit in the gardn and ate heaps of cherries straight from the tree, blueberies, black currents, chinese gooseberries and raspberries, we were stuffed.  Tonight we will go back to the fest for some beer, music and ?????? as well as packing bags for our week to the bayrischer Wald which is right on the Czech border.  Great country, good food, glass etc what more could you want???

Got to go and walk back to mum and dad's for some dinner.  Will chat again when we get back from our week away as we won't ake the laptop.

Love from Hannah, Justin and Andrea
