It is just a short train trip to Monaco from Nice. Monaco is basically
a Marina surrounded by steep hills. The trains station is located unusually half way up the hill. You have to walk down to the marina. On one side of the marina up on a steep hill is the Palace and the cathedral where princess Grace and prince Rainer are in tombed. On the other side is the Monte Carlo Casino. I did the Palace tour with the optional museum visit. The Palace was interesting but you could save two euros by skipping the not so interesting museum of prince Rainer's collectibles. I was not game to go in to the Casino(only stand out side taking photos with the other tourists). I did not have a flash car to park outside and I since
