In the morning we checked out the gig guide, but instead went for a walk around the capital and farmers market. We found a fantastic BBQ stall and we were very pleased that Toby liked BBQ and beans!

The public buildings of Nashville are very interesting, modeled on the Greek democracy, with columns and statues everywhere.

The Country Music Hall of Fame was a obligatory stop and lived up to its name. In the evening we explored a few suburbs, the wealthy area of Greenhills and the student area of Hillsboro.

Nashville is a city addicted to the car with fantastic freeways and thousands for parking lots, but overall it is a city with lots going for it and somewhere we would be interested to live.
