After a weird flight we arrived at Heathrow at the crack of dawn and our fabulous London contact, Sarah, pulled up in her little blue limo to fetch us. It was wonderful to see her again and as always she was full of fun and craziness. She kindle drove us to visit Tammie, Byron and their new little baby girl, Hannah. When we left for our trip Tammie was about to pop and so of course, three months later as we return to London we get to meet her baby Hannah at three months old! It was a lovely visit and she is a real cutie pie. We spent the morning with them enjoying a breakfast and sharing tales from our travels.

Then Sarah came to fetch us and we went back to her house to have a quick shower, a game of Bananagram and lots of chatting. Anton had arranged to meet Clint, a friend from University, in London Town so he headed to the train station at around 12:00. Sarah and Tess hit the streets and took a lovely walk along the Thames, stopping at a little local museum and some knick knacky shops on the way. They then popped into a cafe under one of the bridges and had starters of soups and flatbread followed by tea and cake. A perfect lunch for two friends along the Thames.

Anton took the train to Waterloo station and met with Clint and Mrinal. They had a super catch up lunch just next to the station at a proper English pub. They last saw each other 10 years ago at Bond University in Australia so it was a special time to meet up again. Anton then headed back, joining the girls at Sarah's house. We spent the last few hours looking at photos of our trip and thinking about the year ahead.

Then it was off to catch the bus to Heathrow for the very last flight of our adventure. Spending a day in London with friends has been a wonderful way to finish off the most amazing three months of fun ever!
