The cathedral of San Salvador of Oviedo is remains today as unique example of different architectural design. This primitive cathedral was built between 791-842 by the order of King Alfonso II of Austrias. The uniqueness design of the cathedral is influenced by Romanesque, Renaissance and Barocque elements.

This architectural and cultural landmark is located in Oviedo, the capital city of Austrias  in Northern Spain. Cathedral of San Salvador is one of the unique architectural designs of the place. In Oviedo history, the city is designated as the center of an original and unique architectural expression, inheritor of Visigothic, Roman and Nordic traditions which was reach its high point during the reign of Ramiro I of Asturias.
