Feeling really really hungover, we caught a train and a bus to Sheffield, to be reunited with the original Harrington Street crew - the ever lovely Phil and Jess!
We spent an awesome 4 days catching up with the crew and immersing ourselves in the cool town of Sheffield!!
Having our local guides Phil and Jess on shifts, we were shown what Sheffield has to offer, from disused buildings with amazing graffiti - Phglem the graffiti artist is awesome, countless charity shops - it is a shame my backpack is already too full, quaint chocolatier's where we sampled blackforrest hot chocolate - yummy, curry pot luck dinners with Phil and Jess' great friends - I've not seen or eaten this much great curries outside India, a crazy pub quiz with a bird theme where we had to sculpt 'a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush' with tinfoil and sticky tape - interesting, eating my first pickled egg with a half pint of Fruulii = indigestion, sampling the yummy Henderson's Relish which is world famous in Sheffield, rambling through beautiful woods and parks heading out toward the Peaks District - we found it amazing that one minute you are in the city, the next you are in Peak District.
As has become the theme of this trip, we wished we could stay longer, though with the awesome hospitality of our  lovely friends we will definitely be back for more, and we will also most definitely be back for the amazing fish butty's - think fish fillet sandwiched between potato, then deep fried in batter!
