Beautiful!
This week I was camping in the Sierra Mountains, but did not realize how highup we would be until we arrived (around 6000 ft). And so - surprise, surprise - it was very cold during the night. Even in the tent, it got as low as 45 degrees. I was freezing despite my warm sleeping bag. Was I glad when my relatives loaned me a comforter. During the day it was often very hot - so hot that a plastic bag in my tent melted. And I got a sunburn, despite keeping in the shade. Neither did I know that this area is known for its dryness - so from lips to heels my skin was cracking - this is not a joke (pun intended).
Now I am back in Pasadena, with 90+ degrees even during the night.
I finally uploaded my photos: Sierra Nevada Pictures. Check it out. It is really beautiful there. Lots of beautiful lakes and hiking paths. I watched deer, quails and chipmunks. And we had a good time together.
