Right guys!
So so sorry for not updating as i go coz now i havent a clue where i left off!! Well as ye probably know meself and elaine settled in a nice little slum in Manly, Sydney for 3 months and apart from the cockroaches, ceiling falling down, door off its hinges, and porch light randomingly electrocuting us.. well apart from those things it was a really really cool place to live! We were about 30seconds walk from the beach and met some really nice travellers here and spent most of our time chilling out in our porch drinking beer and tea and eating biscuits and people just dropping in for a chat (sometimes randomers off the street!) but sure twas all in good fun!! Got all Australian altogether and every so off we would go for picnics down the beach and chance a spot of body-boarding! go me!! well yeah, we had to say goodbye to everyone there and on the last night we had our final goodbye and our final cup of tea and then i went out in my jim-jams to say goodbye to our little house and as i was saying "goodbye porch" and reached to turn off the light.. it went and fecking electrocuted me!!! i was stuck to the spot for a few seconds while the bolts went through me and then sure with all the goodbyes and getting frizzled.. i just started bawling my eyes out and elaine was trying to console me with stories of meeting bigger and better friends.. it just wouldnt help me and i couldnt stop crying so had to have a load of rescue remedy and 3 herbal valiums!!! It was the worst day of my life!!!
So anyway at least we managed to hold onto one of our friends- Sharon! We call her Ned because a ned is a scottish equivalent of a cork langer i suppose! Anyhoo she's great! so now the 3 of us, me elaine and sharon are off on our little adventures around Australia and our 1st stop was Tasmania! Wow what a place!! We didnt really know what to expect coz we flew from Sydney straight into Hobart CBD (capital of Tasmania) and expected a city i suppose- but no! Its a really small town and once you get over the fact that you are never going to buy any clothes or drink any nice coffee, then it really is a beautiful place! The people here are really really nice and they take it all in their stride when we take the piss outta them! Basically the mainlander say that they in- breed and that they have two heads and all that kinda craic so we used go around mocking them so they'd show us the scars on their necks where head#2 used to be! We arrived into Hobart and rented a campervan (our new little home) and travelled all around the island! Its so so pretty- loads of lakes and mountains and really green! i suppose some people say that its like Ireland and it probably is.. green, pretty, cold and the people love to drink!! Like one of the days we rocked up to this sleeply little town called Tribunna
