I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Maybe we were just delirious because of how tired we are but we couldn't stop laughing throughout the entire dinner. Every thing turned into a joke. Even Kipp came to the table and joined our comedy time. Kristine taught us some Norwegian phrases and we were laughing so hard at ourselves trying to say them.
We talked about how languages are so neat because in some languages just the tone in which you say a word can totally change its meaning. Kinsie and Kari told us a story about their cousin Katy that was speaking Mandarin Chinese to a woman and meant to say "Your outfit is amazing" but instead told her that she looked like a dead body.
And in a total "had to be there" moment: We had a joke that lasted for about 20 minutes about if a police officer tried to give us a ticket (for speeding or something) that we would tell him that we prefer to give instead of receive and then we would give him a ticket to the UWP show instead. We were cracking up.
It is crazy to think that a week ago I didn't even know any of these people. They would have been strangers passing me but now tonight we were family just sitting around the dinner table.
