Where I stayed
We arrived in Baltimore in the afternoon and decided to check out Baltimore's aquarium. Let me just say that this aquarium is the most amazing place ever and its huge! I don't think I have ever seen an aquarium or even a museum that is as organized as these people. Ceiling decorations, escalator decorations, you name it they got it. It will set you in the mood of being a sea creature yourself. Sharks, fish, amphibians, climate zones, everything!
Well so after our little aquarium we decided to go get some crab cakes. Walking around we came across this place called Rusty Scupper. I'm thinking that this place is like any other seafood joints but boy was I wrong. As soon as I got in there, I was stared at because I was the only one in jeans and a tank top
As if that wasn't bad enough, I somehow got the feeling that the owner of the joint is racist. He ended up seating us in the center of the dance floor, which I didn't mind, but it wasn't until 30 minutes later that I realized all the minorities were seated on the upper dance floor and all the majorities were seated with great ocean view!
At least the crab cakes were good but I don't think I will be returning.
February 13, 2009:
If you are a comic and cartoonist fan then you need to go to Geppi's Entertainment Museum. It's like a whole collection of old and new comic, cards and cartoon art work. They had everything from your most recent batman and superman to old like popeye and raggedy Ann.
It's a fun little place with lots of history.
If you are ever in town, the Baltimore Aquarium is a must see. My words cant even describe it!
