Well really not a lot to write about as we actually aren't doing very much except eating and drinking!!

So yesterday after I typed my entry we headed off for a late breakfast and then spent the next few hours exploring the ship – I don’t think we’ll actually every manage to see every single bit of it – it’s so vast – it’s like about six very large hotels all in the one complex with all these amenties – but it floats and moves! There are 6,200 people on board with a staff of 2.400 to look after – and my goodness do they ever do that – the service is outstanding and so so friendly. Anyway back to the exploring – we popped into the Cupcake Shop – and took a picture – just for you Tiff – don’t know why but I have it in my head that you like cupcakes!  We found a miniature golf course – haven’t tried that yet – wandered round and checked out most of the 21 swimming pools on board and then we watched a few people on the zip line – we’re both too chicken but know that you would love it Grant!  Then we went up to the wave rider – both Grant and Josh would adore this – there are two of them – one for boogie board – I think you would be tall enough for that Josh – and one for what looked like short skinny surfboards.

We didn’t have any shows booked last night so we had a later dinner – again a scrumptious meal – then we wandered around a couple of bars checking out the fun happenings – there’s always something happening all over the ship.

Today has been a bit of an R and R day – we were quite late getting back last night – think it was after midnight –we came back to our cabin to find a lovely towel sculpture – courtesy of the lovely Clover.  Since we’re in an inside cabin we have no light coming in so it’s easy to sleep in!  I finally wakened around 8.30am and by the time Craig got up and organised it was 10am before we eventually headed out for breakfast.  We had a little nap or two today – think all the effort of being a tourist for the past 10 days or so has really caught up with us.  Then had a bit of a boo boo – today I knew was the Meet and Mingle with people I’d talked to (albeit briefly) on the Cruise Critic forum.  I had it in my head that it was at 4pm this afternoon.  Around 3.30pm when I checked the invitation we’d had waiting in our cabin when we arrived I discovered that it had actually been at 11.15am this morning – oops!

Tonight we had an early dinner as we were meant to be attending a show at 7.30pm in the Aquatheatre.  Howver when we arrived at the venue there was a notice saying that due to inclement weather the show had been postponed – not sure why as the weather was Ok tonight – but maybe they knew that bad weather was coming

Today we’ve actually been aware that we’re on a ship – there has been a fair bit of movement – nothing major but you can feel it underneath you and every now and again there’s a bit of a lurch.

Don’t think I mentioned in my last post but the itinerary has been changed due to the lovely Tropical Storm Maria and so they’ve basically reversed the itinerary – so we’ve had two days at sea and tomorrow we arrive at Charlotte Amalie on St Thomas so I’m sitting up in bed writing this at 9pm and very shortly now I’ll be bunking down for the night – we have to be on dockside at 9.45a, - doesn’t sound that early – but we’re definitely in holiday mode so it will require effort!!

I got my birthday present today -  a beautiful Guess watch – one of the gorgeous gold ones with the large diamante G – thank you Craigie Babe!

All rightie – think that’s the news for now.  I’ll upload a few more photos of the ship for your delectation.  Enjoy!

Wow! Didn't even read the sweet menu in case I put on sympathy pounds!! The liner looks superb - hard to imagine that something that big and heavy can actually float! Chilling out will do you no harm at all, and I dare say the trips ashore will be pretty busy when they start!

Not sure about the towel sculpture. Slightly scary! But it sounds like you will need another holiday to recover from this one. Enjoy yourselves.
