Exterior - The Fusion was the first Ford model to feature the chrome three-bar grille that has since appeared on other models. There are projector-beam headlights and taillights that are a cross between conventional colored and clear lenses. But - automotively, at least - you don't want to go back. Trust me, I was there. But like the original, the teardrop shape is not particularly conducive to interior room -- front-seat room is fine, rear-seat room is adequate, but there isn't much luggage space behind the seat, and what's there is a bit shallow -- stack it higher, and you limit the already minimal rear visibility. If you need an SUV with more utility than sport, Infiniti will be glad to sell you a QX56, based on the Nissan Titan truck platform.
