in a nutshell: we have been chilling out on the Sunshine Coast with Anne's aunty Linda and her husband David, swimming in their pool, going on an early morning fishing expedition... that kind of thing! It's been very hot and we had a quite spectaular tropical storm the other day where apparently 560 strikes of lightning were recoerded in just 2 minutes!

Tomorrow we leave Kawana Waters (where Linda & David live) and join up with our friends Pete & Lisa from Brisbane who have planned out a few days of touring with us. First stop is Australia Zoo, home of Steve Irwin no less!

The fishing trip was great fun. We got up early and drove off with David's 'tinny' on the trailer behind the car. Jono was the only one of the three of us who had any kind of luck catching a little Bream within the first 10 minutes, a Long Tom later on, and last but not least a Stingray! We obviously had to put the ray back but the other two came back with us and Jono had them for tea that night!
