in a nutshell: we left Cassie and Bryan on the late morning Greyhound from Bundaberg. We got to Nambor late afternoon & were picked up by Anne's aunty Linda's husband David who drove us to their house in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. It's a lovley big airy house on the banks of a river that leads to the sea, and they have a swimming pool which is fab because it's bally hot!

Christmas Eve
We went to Underwater World, an aquarium in Mooloolaba. It was really good and showed off a huge variety of Australian marine life. There was a seal show and a fantastic glass tunnel running trhough a huge tank holding sharks and rays etc (Jono LOVED that bit!). They also had very good coral displays with a lot of the fish that we had seen snorkelling in the Whitsundays.

In the afternoon we cooled off by taking a dip in the pool, and in the evening tucked into some wonderful barbequed fillet steaks - all the weight that we lost in India is now rapidly piling back on in Australia!
