In a nutshell: We are in Goa at last after a 36-hour train journey (that went surprisingly quickly!), soaking up the sun (and there's lots of it!) on Palolem beach. We're staying in a coco-hut on the beach, very basic accomodation that costs a basic 2 pounds per night - can't say fairer than that guv! We intend to do very little over the next few days, this is our holiday time before heading back into India proper and then on to China.
