Last day in Auckland

So the final day in Auckland has come. And what a day it was! It started with Cato and Kevin doing a bungy jump from the Auckland Harbour Bridge, a 40-meter dive from the bridge towards the water! Anne came along as spectator, so we all got to do a bit of brige-climbing before reaching the point where Kevin and Cato were to throw themselves of the bridge.
After a quick lunch and after picking up Heddi and Kylie it was off to the highlight of the day, the earlier postponed and long awaited U2 concert at Mt. Smart Stadium in Auckland. U2 finally took their Vertigo Tour to New Zealand, the first visit since 1993's Zooropa Tour. This was the second show in as many days, and 45,000 people had found the way to the stadium. We were in for a great experience as the band played all their hits from the earliest stage of their career up to present day.
The morning after was spent packing the remaining things and cleaning the apartment before handing over the keys to the landlords. Kylie picked us up in the afternoon and made sure we got to the airport on time.
This means our two years in New Zealand has come to an end. We're off to Los Angeles, and if all goes as planned, there will be a new update from us shortly.
