We have another bike problem, this time Marks, so one is being ridden down from SF. We have to wait here and guess what...Outlet shops right at our hotel Danger once again, but Jo has us on a tight time schedule thank goodness. Finally met the bearded, bandana harley biker (just like in the movies) and left at 3pm for Monterey up the coast via Hearst Castle...bit of a shame, no tours today and you can't get anywhere near it but looks wonderful sitting up in the top of the mountains, left by Randoff Hearst to the state but the family still own the enormous ranch around it (with zebras free ranging with the cattle) so you can't drive up to the castle. Getting late as we headed up the coast so it was dark by the time we reached the Big Sur, looked wonderful amongst the big trees, but quite eerie at night. Really late when we arrived so decided to stay here another day .
