Our main reason for going to Karamea was to do part of the Heaphy Track. The part we did was a 2 day costal walk. Such different scenery from the Abel Tasman. It was very enjoyable.

We were last to the hut, so we got crap beds & the sand flies eat poor Julien alive! There's only a skeleton left now, sob sob!
