Where I stayed
After a fairly big breakfast, with a choice of mushroom and pepper laughing cow, pepper salad or more simply nutella with brioche,we leave for our first excursion. We start with charles bridge, famous for its pickpockets, and arrive in front of saint nicholas church.church.After a lady(Czech according to me,french according to phil) tells us to go there because "Mozart played in this church,it's the most beautiful barrocanbarrocan(i don't actually know how to spell this) and in prague, they liked Mozart from the beginning not just 15 years after he was dead like the vienese(when we tell her where we're off to next). The church is indeed magnificent, though don't think I'd like my livingroom to have this amount of gold and sculptures(my colourful engraved fruits on the ceiling are more than enough).
We walk up to the castle on a street lined with tourists shops:puppets, beer glasses, russian dolls, vodka with cannabis...just your usual touristy stuff!
The views over the castle are superb, and we are just in time for the change of the guard...not bad,but it's not quite what you can see at Buckingham! We then set off to visit the castle:a few palaces, gardens,a church, the golden street and a museum.
