A little bus ride of five hours to San Josť in the middle of Costa Rica, what we didn't realize before that we moved from sealevel to 1500m, it's fresh up there...
Different to what everyone said, that San Josť is not a nice city at all and just to cross as fast as possible, we luckily ended up in a backpacker in a very nice area from where we did a little city walk through the really cute city center.
Then we did a very international evening program which made us forget where we actually are: shopping mall and movie :-) An indian girl who slept in the same dorm as us joined , so I finall met the first indian traveller in Central America ;-)
Early wakeup next morning, bus to the Nicaragua border. Took us around six hours, then about an hour for the whole bordercrossing, but no problem, just interesting how many offices you have to find within an open area to get all the forms and stamps. Would be easy to get lost or miss one, but with some help we should have got it all.
