The continuation of my surf lessons was less successful, once I got out of a wave with a big bump on my head because my board probably hit me under water, then I lost a contact lense, got tumbled in waves like in a washing mashine and water kept coming out of my head hours after I had left the sea. At the moment the waves are too big for beginners and I hope to be able to give it another try by the end of the week.
Then will probably travel on before I put down roots here.
It's a lazy place with a lot of music and parties, free or very cheap drinks (1$) which of course results in many drunk people. But I got used to all the noise and usually sleep before midnight because I have to get up early for school in the morning.
Else I did some excursions, met people from all over the world as well as locals, after a week you already know half the village, it's not that big...
Btw, found some really good food here, like ginger-orange fish or creole chicken with cocunut rice and banana chips... Banana chips they serve with everything like french fries, this is really the country of the bananas.
