Had my first African thunderstorm last week! Can't remember exactly which day, maybe Tuesday, but all day it had been cloudy and then I was sitting outside under the canopy when it started to rain, just little drops at first and then it started hammering down! It was very exciting. The lightning was flashing, the thinder was crashing... well, you've all been in thunderstorms before. But it was so warm, the rain was warm and the air felt very heavy. It was really nice. Sat outside the whole time because the canopy only let a tiny bit of rain through in the form of really small drops so I didn't get wet at all! Lovely. And afterwards there was a big rainbow stretching all across Gaborone. I can't think of too much else to write right now, but I'll be back again soon and will write a better entry. Right now I'm a bit too hungry to concentrate and the supermarket is beconing! Now what to have for supper tonight...?
