But first I'll have to get back home safely!
My last day in Prince George, my last day in British Columbia, my last day in Canada, and of course my last day with my host family! I started packing in the morning. It was quite a challenge to get all my stuff in my luggage. All of a sudden it was too small! All day I felt weird I couldn't believe that my time here in Canada should be already over! It went by too fast! But I also have a lot of experiences and memories to take home and I'm sure that I'll never forget my trip to Canada! But I still haven't been to the most Canadian thing. That's why my host family took me to a hockey game this evening. The Cougars, the Prince George team was playing. My host family was already expecting them to loose the game as usual but this time they actually won! It was so much fun and I really enjoyed it and honestly I think hockey is way more interesting than soccer, the German national sport. Although it's quite brutal. Two of the players had a fight on the ice. I was wondering why nobody was interfering, when my exchange student explained that it's allowed if they don't seriously hurt each other. And I had always thought soccer was a brutal sport! Anyways it was such a nice ending of my stay in British Columbia and I'm already looking forward to my exchange student's coming to Germany!
