After leaving Hossegor, we wanted to go to Bordeaux to sample the wine and check out the surf further up north. We got to Lacanau-Océan, which is right to the west of Bordeaux on the coast. The surf was bigger here, even if it wasn't anything to cheer about. It was pretty windy and we were pretty burned from our trips to the beach in Hossegor, so we chose to camp at a campground a bit inland at this lake called ..hm..Lacanau?? probably not, but anyway, the campsite was called Le Teddy, which was kind of cute so we decided to stay here for the night. (I might add that this campground was about 10 Euro, 10 us$ cheaper then the one next to the beach) Well, we hung out on the beach for a while and then went "home" and cooked up some ...this would be the time to guess....I hope you all by now that our dinners are always Barilla pasta with a Barilla salsa. Once again; Amazing dinners!!! The night finished with a beer at the bar and Sweden beating Italy 10-1...neee, I just joking, I actually can not remember what the score was, but we won. (Ian is not available to help me out right now....) It was a good night!
The next day was our Bordeaux-wine-tasting experience, which I have already written about. (Tourist office wine tasting....supermarket wine shopping....)
