Well, sorry got a bit of track there. Anyway, we got to town right before 10 am and had a panini (sandwich) and a caffe latte. Then I went shopping for some fine italian clothes. This did not take long since my money account is limited
. Then we went looking for the galleria della academia, or something like that. Ian says the statue of David is in there, the one of Michaelangelo...well, my art knowledge is not very developed, so I did not mind that the que outside was VERY long. Lets say that we did not have the 2 to 3 hours it would take to stand and wait. Ian was dissapointed, and I was, well dissapointed cos he was. The same thing happend at the next gallery...museums and galleries are closed on mondays in italy, which means everyone goes to the places on tuesdays.
We checked out from our stinking campground, where I might add the bathrooms and toiletts sucked VERY much, and left for Rimini. This is where I had worked before, and I had splitt feelings about coming over here. But the decision was taken and in Rimini we are. I met my old friends here, and we are staying at the quaters of the disco Life staff, which is also the owners house. The are letting us stay here, so we'll not have to camp tonight. Very nice! Anyway, now it's time for dinner, and lets hope the hangovers are not too bad tomorrow morning... Got up really early in Firenze this morning. Ian wanted to check out the very famous galleries in the center. Check out time was at 1 pm so we figured that leaving thje campground at around 10 am would be good. We packed up the tent, got cleaned up and streched our back out from the less comfortable sleeping the night before. As I might have mentioned before, our first night the tent was camped on a slight hill, so we kept sliding around in the tent. Well, we thought we found a better location, BUT....life comes with many surprises and this was one of them. The ground that seemed so level, was in fact also on a slight hill. So, last night the sleeping was a bit weird...to slide or not to slide...
