My flatmate Ammar, a PhD student, went home to Iraq to visit his family for 2 months. We gave him a farewell party the evening before he left. We had Iraqi foods. I made stewed dried fruit & Yukta made rice pudding for deserts. Athough the deserts weren't actually Iraqi, everything else was, including the cakes, delicious...
