The weather in Ica in comparison to Lima is incredible, about 25 degrees and clear blue skies. Lima is a good city but not a place where I could stay for longer than 2 days. There isn't much to do or anything particularly spectacular about the place. Ica on the other hand is really beautiful! We are staying in a hostel called Desert Nights. It's a nice hostel surrounded by a stunning view of a lagoon and huge sand dunes, would definitely recommend it to people. We booked dune buggies and sand boarding. Saw some of the most outstanding views from the slopes and as a bonus I was surprisingly ok at it. Turned out the be the only one in the group of around 30 to attempt the largest slope. Check out the video! I ended up with a few cuts and bruises but it was definitely worth it. All in all it was an amazing day!
